Newer hotel in a new developing area outside the city center. It was right off I30 maybe 10 minutes from the city center. Super easy to drive in yet avoids the congestion and parking hassles of staying in the city. Room was very comfortable. Note that other than fast food and chains, there's not much around the area. The complementary breakfast is typical but passable. But the fact that the property is new and clean, it gets bonus points.

I reached out 48 hours in advance of my check-in requesting a top floor room. I understand Marriott doesn’t guarantee a room request. But I also doubt you had that many titanium members that made the same request with a 48 hour lead time. At 3:45 I checked in. Listed 3pm as my check in time. No digital key prior to arrival. When I checked in I was told 3rd floor. I asked to be moved to the first. The clerk didn’t seam to know how to do to. Also didn’t even say sorry for the inconvenience. Get to the room. Had to call down as changing the channels didn’t work. The internet tv didn’t work (and I’d bet it didn’t happen that day but has been an ongoing issue). The picture of Eddy Murphy isn’t after he got a prison tear tatt, but a constant yellow blemish on the tv. I doubt that happen the stay before. I would bet it’s been identified. As a member who stays over 130 times a year (and it’s only September) I was extremely disappointed in this property. I detailed the experience to the management and sales team. The sales team got back to me. Management never did. It’s sad the state of some of these properties and the way loyal members are treated. I’d look elsewhere!!

I can't believe there was no employee working when we arrived to get checked in. There was even no manager working. Other customers have been there for couple hours trying to get help. Another group came in supposed to get checked in, grabbed some food from the corner market shelf but got nobody and then left. We called the corporate and got transferred to an overseas call center. They said they couldn't contact anybody from this location. We were offered to get transferred to a different hotel about 6 miles away, used the same Marriot points but not offered for any inconvenience that we had. We ended up transferring to this other hotel, had to pay for parking fee with no free breakfast option.

Room was ok, location was ok, staff was friendly, but they had the WORST breakfast ever! Prepackaged eggs with broccoli mixed in, turkey sausage (no pork), apple juice was empty, waffle batter was empty, prepackaged pastries were very dry, etc. I ended up having some oj and a piece of toast! There was very little to choose from and the person working was not keeping things filled. Not everyone likes broccoli or turkey sausage! At least offer some choices!

What a great room and great location! The hotel was new and clean; our room was spacious and comfortable, and the breakfast was yummy. We have only a couple of complaints. 1. We had a drawer in our room that would not stay shut. We told the front desk as we left. He replied that they were aware and that they had taped the drawer but someone had taken off the tape. Well, that response was certainly a disappointment. I don't think that the solution is tape. 2. The coffee maker was in a shelf that appeared to be made for it. However, the design was not as good as it appeared. There was no plugin. Nonetheless, I would definitely recommend this hotel as a great option if visiting downtown Dallas if you don't want to pay the cost of a downtown hotel.
